Our state-of-the-art Multi-line Optical Character Readers (MLOCR) provide you with the ultimate in speed and efficiency in bar-coding and presorting. Remote video encoding equipment is utilized to process your mail and qualify it for the favorable USPS presort postage discounts.

Our high speed sorting equipment can easily process large volumes of mail while actually reading the address on each piece of mail, looking up the proper 11-digit barcode and then spraying the barcode directly onto the envelope. This provides you with the maximum postage discounts possible.

FASTforward 
FASTforward is a Postal software program that runs in conjunction with our MLOCR sorting process that enables us to automatically identify any pieces of your mail that has a registered change of address (COA) on file with the Postal Service. Once identified; these pieces of mail have the new correct barcode and address information applied to the envelope and the USPS delivers them directly to their new address. This eliminates costly delays and returns! FASTforward is an optional service that is always there if you need it.

USPS Detached Mail Unit
Professional Mail Services, Inc. has a United States Postal Service Detached Mail Unit (DMU) in our facility. The DMU is staffed by Postal employees. Every mailing that we prepare is verified and accepted by the USPS DMU prior to leaving our facility. The mailings are then transported to the USPS distribution center where they bypass the normal time consuming acceptance procedures and are simply cross docked for expedited dispatch and delivery. Our DMU provides a valuable and reliable USPS Quality Control check BEFORE any mail leaves our plant. The DMU also provides you with expedited entry, dispatch and delivery.
